Devon Moth Group was formed
in 1996, primarily to record the moths and butterflies of Devon
in England. The group caters for all levels of expertise, from
the very beginner to the expert.
We currently have four
indoor meetings a year, an AGM in January, a spring meeting around
end of March, an autumn meeting in October and a get together just
before Christmas.
We try and get speakers
about moths and butterflies or do moth things for the first of
these three meetings and have a speaker telling us about something
completely different for the final meeting. We try and arrange
at least three field meetings a year and do ad hoc meetings the
rest of the time.
Annual Report
Our Annual Report, which
is free to members, gives a complete listing of ALL the moths that
were seen the previous year, along with some idea of where the
uncommon ones were seen or the number of records for the common
ones. It also gives all sorts of other information including a
listing of all of the members currently in the Group at the time
of publication.
